ABU DHABI, May 2 (WAM) - Polio reared its head again in Pakistan last year, but the quick response of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in providing funds to combat the debilitating disease is proving to be a success and the Pakistani people have welcomed help from friends, a UAE newspaper said Saturday adding that former no-go areas for health workers bearing the vaccine because of terror fears have now opened up after the UAE began funding the project.

UAE: Dubai Cares Distributes 50,000 School Kits in Gaza
